The Lusail Ramadan Football Tournament concluded last 25^th May 2019 at Crescent Park, Lusail City. The event, sponsored by UrbaCon Trading and Contracting (UCC), witnessed the participation of 16 different teams such as UCC, InfraRoad, Katara, Barwa, Qatari Diar, Nakheel, Vendome, Kahrama and more.

Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Power International Holding’s (PIH) Vice Chairman and Group CEO, Mr. Ramez Al Khayyat expressed his pride in the success of the tournament, “We are extremely proud to sponsor the event and we congratulate the hard work and performance of the winning teams. The participation of UCC and InfraRoad presented a wonderful opportunity to unite with other companies in the spirit of Ramadan – an accomplishment that we value as a team. We are definitely looking forward to participating again in the future.”

Tournament Conclusion: Nakheel Landscapes beat Vendome 1-0 in the final match, placing 1^st place in the competition; while QDSB defeated InfraRoad at the Final match, the latter finishing 4^th in the tournament. UCC was on a winning streak in the first 3 games – placing a lead position in the group pool matches. However, UCC lost the Quarter-Final knockout match against Vendome.
