UCC Records One Million Safe Manhours

UrbaCon Trading & Contracting (UCC) announced that its team celebrated the completion of one million safe manhours with no incident on January 30, 2020.

UCC celebrated this landmark achievement at the Qatar Petroleum District project, in the presence of top executives from Qatar Petroleum Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), owners of the project and members of the Arab Engineering Bureau (AEB) along with UCC’s project teams and workers.

The no incident accomplishment was met with joy and praise, honoring the successful collaboration of the workers, led by Project Director, Mr. Ahmed Ghrer, HSE Manager, Mr. Andrew Hay and UCC Holding HSE Director, Mr. Wayne Oliver.

“UCC’s accomplishment of one million manhours without any lost-time injury (LTI) is a huge achievement from a safety standpoint.  This success is due to the dedication, commitment and hard work of everyone who worked on the project,” Mr. Ramez Al Khayyat, Vice Chairman and Group CEO of UCC said.
