Free Emirati hotels during the month of Ramadan
May 26, 2017Dubai – DPA: Several hotels in the United Arab Emirates presented unprecedented offers to attract tourists and face the decline in hotels occupancy during the holy month of Ramadan and the hot summer season. Hotels announced free accommodation for guests during the month o fasting, some hotels offered discounts up to 50 percent, while other hotels announced free breakfasts, and offered traditional and Ramadan meals to familiarize the tourists from Europe and Asia with the holy month of Ramadan. The tourism expert Moutaz AL Khayyat said that hotels in the Gulf countries are facing a decline in occupancy rates with the arrival of the summer season and the month of Ramadan, that is why hotels have offered unprecedented packages to attract tourists, and at the same time to attract citizens and residents to stay during the month of fasting.
