UCC Holding Wins “Energy Infrastructure Project of the Year” at the Construction Innovation Awards 2025
November 2, 2025UCC Holding, a subsidiary of Power International Holding, received the “Energy Infrastructure Project of the Year” at the Construction Innovation Awards 2025 for its US $7 billion national power generation and energy infrastructure project in Syria.
Led by UCC Holding, through its subsidiary UCC Concessions Investment, and executed in consortium with Power International USA, Kalyon Energy, and Cengiz Energy, the project includes:
- Four high-efficiency combined-cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power plants totaling 4,000 MW
- A 1,000 MW utility-scale solar power plant
Once operational, the project will play a pivotal role in strengthening national grid reliability, restoring stable electricity supply, enabling essential public services, supporting industrial recovery, creating employment opportunities, and driving long-term sustainable growth and energy resilience across Syria.
The award was received by Mr. Sidhartha Tiku, Cluster Business Development Director, recognizing UCC Holding’s strategic leadership in advancing transformative, future-focused energy infrastructure across the region under the umbrella of Power International Holding.
