Baladna Food Industries, Syrian American Center (SAC), Aura Entertainment and Aura Hospitality, subsidiaries of Power International Holding (PIH), along with other sponsors and partners of the Ramadan Competition were honored by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) at the Ministry Headquarters, last 8 September 2019.

The honoring ceremony was attended by Mr. Safar Mubarak Al Shafi, Assistant Undersecretary for General Services Affairs at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment; Mr. Nasser Abdulrahman Al Sarami, Director of Public Relations Department, together with officials and employees of the Ministry and representatives of Hotels and Companies who sponsored the competition.

On behalf of Mr. Moutaz Al Khayyat, Group Chairman and Mr. Ramez Al-Khayyat, Vice Chairman and Group CEO, the certificates were received by Mr. Marwan Dimas, Power International Holding’s (PIH) Marketing Director; Mr. Aladdin Idilbi, Baladna’s Senior Marketing Manager; Mr. Yasser Zein, Aura Hospitality’s General Manager and; Dr. Mahar Al Azhary, SAC’s General Manager.

A total of 21 sponsors and partners of the Ramadan competition were honored at the ceremony. Mr. Safar Mubarak Al Shafi, Assistant Undersecretary for General Services Affairs at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment, and Mr. Nasser Abdulrahman Al Sarami, Director of Public Relations Department distributed certificates and commemorative shields for distinctive parties that contributed to the success of the Ramadan contest. The competition received wide participation and acclaim from the public and ministry employees, via social media of the MME.

Addressing the event, Mr. Nasser Abdulrahman Al Sarami, Director of Public Relations Department, emphasized that this honor comes within the framework of the keenness of the MME represented by the Department of Public Relations to hold competitions, campaigns and educational and awareness activities.

He pointed out that the participation and support of sponsors of the competition had the most impact in its success in achieving its goals. At the end of his speech, he expressed his appreciation to Mr. Safar Al Shafi, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Services, for his participation in this ceremony and honoring the sponsors and partners. He called for the continuation of this cooperation to achieve common goals in the service of Qatar.
