Under the patronage of Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H.E. Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, a signing ceremony announcing the official beginning of the construction works for Doha Winter Wonderland was held today morning at Al Maha Island in Lusail.

The world-class project is led by the association of the leading local companies Elegancia Group, Qatari Diar, and IMG, in corporation with Qatar Tourism.

The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H.E. Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, H.E. Mr. Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, Minister of Finance; H.E. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Qassim Al-Abdullah Al-Thani, Minister of Commerce and Industry; Mr. Moutaz Al Khayyat, Chairman of Elegancia Group, and Frank Guignery, Managing Director of IMG in Middle East.

The agreement was signed by H.E. Mr. Akbar Al Baker, Secretary-General of Qatar Tourism; Eng. Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, Chief Executive Officer of Qatari Diar, Mr. Ramez Al Khayyat, Managing Director of Elegancia Group, and Frank Guignery, Managing Director of IMG in the Middle East.
